Battle Creek Community Foundation is Confirmed in Compliance with National Standards for U.S. Community Foundations.
The National Standards for U.S. Community Foundations® accreditation program provides “Best Practices” guidelines, designed to assure donors and their advisors of consistent performance in our operations, as well as cooperation with other community foundations in any joint marketing and donor development efforts. These principles are minimum standards and are in addition to the requirements imposed upon community foundations under state and federal law. Best practices categories include governance, administration & finance, asset development, grantmaking, communications, and the Foundation’s role as a convener and leader (community leadership initiatives).
