Bearcat Scholarship Program
The Bearcat Advantage helps eligible Battle Creek Public Schools graduates earn a four-year degree with up to 100% tuition and mandatory fees covered at Michigan public universities, participating Michigan private colleges, and nearly 100 HBCUs nationwide.
What the scholarship covers
Tuition and mandatory fees at eligible four‑year institutions.
Other costs like housing, meals, books, and transportation are not covered.

The Bearcat Advantage is a Battle Creek Public Schools scholarship. The Battle Creek Community Foundation serves as a payment partner, helping process funds to colleges and universities.

How much is covered?
Coverage percentage is based on years of continuous enrollment in BCPS. The longer you’ve been a Bearcat, the more you receive.
