Charitable Union is launching Jean’s Day, a special 139th anniversary awareness and collection campaign, according to a community announcement.
Jean donations will be accepted through Jan. 31 at the following locations:
- Battle Creek Community Foundation
- Grand Trunk Employees Credit Union
- Marshall Community Credit Union (2 locations)
- Sunshine Toyota
- Superior Nutrition
- The Gift Shop at Charitable Union
“Donating a pair of jeans may seem small, but to someone who relies on our Free Store, it means warmth, confidence and the ability to show up for work, school or daily life,” Charitable Union CEO Teresa Allen said in the announcement. “Jean’s Day is about honoring our past while meeting today’s needs — together.”
To support this project, donate new or gently used jeans at one of the collection sites.
